Young Rebel Star Prabhas gained a pan-Indian stardom that was never seen or heard of before, with his performance in the Baahubali franchise. Fans across the nation have been waiting with baited breaths for every new project of his, and so far, all of his releases have been lackluster, with no single film being able to recapture the actor’s mass image.
A splinter of hope came about with the stills and teaser of his upcoming film Salaar, directed by Prashant Neel of KGF fame. The teaser was released a long time ago and managed to get everyone talking. However, there has not been a single update regarding the film till now, again. The film was supposed to be released in September but got pushed back to December for unspecified reasons.
It is now being said that the film doesn’t hold much in it, and there are good reasons for such a rumor to be floating around. Not a single track or poster from the film has been released so far. Considering that the makers of Salaar were also behind both the KGF films, and how they managed to get a good buzz surrounding the film by releasing its music, it is truly surprising to see that nothing is being released. Could this mean that there is not a single noteworthy song in the film?
If one keenly observes, delays or the lack of updates are something that’s been haunting all of Prabhas’s films. Many are saying that Prabhas doesn’t seem to be involved in the films as much as he needs to be, because of which such delays are taking place. Maybe it is time the actor starts getting more involved, because his reputation is at stake.
