We already reported that YSR Telangana Party president YS Sharmila assaulted police personnel on Monday morning when they tried to stop her from entering the SIT office in Hyderabad.
With Sharmila manhandling the cops, the officials lodged a complaint against her in which she was accused of assaulting one sub-inspector, causing leg injury to a police constable by ramming her car into him and also abusing police officials. She was produced before the Nampally court after registering a case and the court sent her to Judicial custody for 14 days.
The sister of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister will remain remanded till May 8. She was booked under IPC sections 353, 332, 324 and 509.
