After 2.0 failed to reach the expectations, it seems, Rajinikanth has understood what works him best and what are the expectations of his fans on him. With no great experiments, the Super Star came up with a regular commercial film called “Petta” after Shankar’s directorial.
As the film registered as a good success at the box office, Rajini is coming forward with yet another out and out commercial film called “Darbar”. As AR Muragadoss is known for some thought provoking and equally entertaining films like Ghajini, Thuppaaki etc., his direction to Darbar has acquired a decent craze for the project.

Murugadoss released a latest poster from the film and quoted it, that reads, “Younger, smarter, wiser, tougher… Thalaivar in a never seen before Avatar #DarbarSecondLook…”
As Rajini is playing the role of a cop in the film, the fiery look in the poster hints that the Super Star is going to be high on action in the film.
Anirudh Ravichander is composing the tunes and Lyca Productions is producing Darbar, which is up for the release on Sankranthi 2020.
