MM Keeravani is on cloud nine now. He recently won the Golden Globe award for best original song – Naatu Naatu. Now, he is in contention for the Oscars in the same category.
It has only gotten better for Keeravani as was accorded with the respected Padma Shri award by the government of India.
The government announced Padma Shri awards last night and Keeravani is one of the 7 Telugu personalities to have won the same.
“Much honoured by the civilian award from the Govt of India Respect for my parents and all of my mentors from Kavitapu Seethanna garu to Kuppala Bulliswamy Naidu garu on this occasion” Keeravani tweeted after winning the award.
Also, Chinnajiyar swamy is another Telugu personality to have won the award this year.
