Senior leader, former MP and former minister, Chegondi Venkata Harirama Jogaiah on Saturday said that he wishes for Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan to be announced as the CM candidate for 2024, on behalf of the TDP and Jana Sena alliance. It is to be noted that there is no official alliance between the TDP and Jana Sena yet, and that it is something that’s only still being discussed.
Jogaiah released his statement welcoming the TDP and Jana Sena alliance, and wanting it too. Jogaiah said that this move is important for the YSRCP to be driven away from power in the 2024 elections. He also said that it is important for a Kapu to become the CM as the Kapu community is particularly keen to drive Jagan away from the CM seat in 2024.
The senior politician also said that the TDP would soon realise the importance of announcing a Kapu as the Chief Minister of the state. He said that the state is tired of Jagan’s rule, especially the Kapus, who have been done injustice to, which is why it is important for Pawan to be CM. He even asked the TDP to soon give a clarity about their alliance with the Jana Sena.
