Director Osho Tulasi Ram, who helmed successful female-oriented films like ‘Mantra’ and ‘Mangala’, has now joined hands with Sai Dhansika of Kabali fame for another lady-oriented suspense thriller, titled ‘Dakshina’. The movie is being produced by Ashok Shinde under the Cult Concepts banner.
Dakshina had its launch today with a formal pooja ceremony and its regular shooting also commenced in Hyderabad.
The pooja ceremony was held grandly at Narasimha Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad. Popular producer Vamsi Krishna, who was the chief guest of the event, switched the camera for the first scene, while Pranathi and Shweta Bhavana clapped the soundboard.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Shinde said, “We have made preparations to complete the shoot in three schedules. The first schedule started today. It will be held in Hyderabad from today till September 24th and the second schedule will happen in Goa from October 6th to 20th. The third schedule will be held in Hyderabad from November 1st to 10th. That completes the entire movie. Along with the actors, other details will be revealed soon.”
Dakshina has music composed by Balaji, while Narsingh handles the cinematography.
