It is a known fact that the Nation-award winning actor Dhanush has teamed up with director Mithran R Jawahar for the fourth time for a family entertainer titled ‘Thiru’. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, the Telugu rights of movie have been acquired by Asian Multiplexes Pvt Ltd. The makers of the film today unveiled the theatrical trailer.
The 2min 11 sec trailer shows Dhanush playing a food delivery executive. He leads a simple life, though he has a complicated equation with his strict father played by Prakash Raj, who is a police officer. Bharathiraja played his dotting grandfather, wherein Nithya Menon is seen as his best friend. He shares everything in his life with his best friend, including his love stories with Priya Bhavani Shankar and Raashi Khanna.
Going by trailer, the movie is a feel-good tale of family, friendship, and romance. Om Prakash looked after the cinematography, and Anirudh Ravichander’s background score is a big asset. The movie is set to release on August 18th.
