It is known that Congress chief Sonia Gandhi tested positive for Covid-19. A day after the top leader of the party contracted the virus, her daughter and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra announced that she too tested positive for Coronavirus.
Taking to Twitter, Priyanka Gandhi wrote that she has tested positive with mild symptoms and quarantined herself at home.
“I’ve tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms. Following all the protocols, I have quarantined myself at home. I would request those who came in contact with me to take all necessary precautions,” Priyanka tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate had issued summons to both Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to appear before the investigation agency in a case related to money laundering allegations in the 2011-12 National Herald case. However, both Sonia and her daughter testing positive for the virus may change the date of questioning by the ED.
