The OTT streaming rights of today’s release, KGF 2 are apparently snapped up by Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon also holds the OTT rights of KGF 1 and the platform has now secured the digital streaming rights of KGF 2.
KGF 1 was a huge hit on OTT and Amazon greatly benefited from it. The OTT platform has now gone after KGF 2 and sealed the deal.
But we aren’t quite sure so as to when KGF 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. It could well be over 6 weeks from its theatrical release.
KGF 2 has set new records in terms of box office collections in a few major centres across India. The film is faring pretty well in the USA as well.
