The makers of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s SSMB28 had previously announced that Pooja Hegde will be playing the female lead role in the film. But the latest developments are suggesting that there is a change in the plan now.
As per our well-placed sources close to SSMB28, the makers of the Mahesh Babu starrer have opted to replace Pooja Hegde with Samantha.
It is heard that Samantha will be the one playing the female lead in SSMB28 and not Pooja Hegde. There is no affirmative update so as to why Samantha is replacing Pooja.
There might be a logistic reason like a clash of dates, or creative differences. But from what we hear, Samantha is the frontrunner to play the female lead in SSMB28.
SSMB28 will hit the floors from early next year. It will be a heavy duty action drama in trademark Trivikram style.
