Former Congress MP from Rajahmundry and self-styled political intellectual Vundavalli Arun Kumar, in a recent interview, said that the people of Andhra Pradesh still prefer YSRCP Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as their CM. Vundavalli said that this is because Jagan managed to implement his welfare schemes for the people even during the coronavirus pandemic, and did not, at any point, stop them.
While saying that Jagan is still the preferred choice for the people, Vundavalli said that Jagan is ruining the state by implementing all of these welfare schemes at the cost of the state’s wellbeing. Vundavalli said that Jagan should focus more on trying to build assets for the state, instead of giving free meals to the people. On the other hand, Vundavalli said that Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan’s biggest mistake in the last elections was to go against Jagan instead of the TDP. Vundavalli also defended Pawan’s decision of working in films once again, as he said that Pawan would need that money to run his party.
On the TDP and Chandrababu, Vundavalli said that Chandrababu has another 10 years in politics easily, and said that while people are of the belief that he is promoting Nara Lokesh to avoid bringing NTR into the picture, Chandrababu could do even better if he brought together the families of Nara and Nandamuri.
