Venkatesh’s Narappa is gearing up for its digital premieres on Amazon Prime Video. The film will be made available for streaming on Amazon from 20th July.
Suresh Babu, who is bankrolling Narappa along with Kalaipuli S Thani made a few interesting comments.
“Initially, Srikanth Addala came to my office to narrate a different script. But he then mentioned about Asuran script and I felt he had a detailed understanding of the film. That is how Srikanth came on-board for Narappa. Moreover, Srikanth has the knack of getting the emotional connect right in his films. That is a crucial trait of Narappa,” he said.
Adding further, Suresh Babu revealed that OTT is an integral part of the entertainment industry now and producers will have to learn to coexist with the prospect of OTT.
The senior producer went on to say that he is producing a total of 7 films in association with other producers and he can’t reveal if they will be releasing on OTT or in theaters.
