Nagarjuna had recently revealed that Bangarraju, the sequel to the blockbuster Soggade Chinni Nayana is presently in the pre-production phase and the regular shooting will commence later this year.
Nagarjuna and the director of the film Kalyan Krishna are busy with the final draft and they are also working on finalizing the lead cast.
As said by a source close to the unit, the makers of Bangarraju are planning to rope in Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha for an important role in the film. They have already initiated talks with the acclaimed actress and are awaiting her response.
The script accommodates a star actress and the makers want to rope in Sonakshi for the same. She will be conveying her final decision soon.
If Sonakshi agrees to be a part of the Nagarjuna starrer, it will be her maiden straight Telugu film.
