The Centre recently appointed Biswabhushan Harichandan as the new governor of Andhra Pradesh, who is going to take charge from tomorrow. ESL Narasimhan as governor of both the Telugu states, will have to discharge from his duties as governor of AP today. His services are going to end today, with a farewell program by the state government.
During his speech at a felicitation program organized by Andhra Pradesh government, Narasimhan came up with some good gestures towards AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Comparing Jagan’s rule to a cricket captain, Narasimhan said that the young CM hit every ball to a boundary in his 34 days of rule. He also asked people to forgive him, for his small mistakes, if any, during his tenure.
Narasimhan set a new record, by serving nine and a half years as the Governor. He is known to maintain good relations with the Chief Ministers of both the Telugu states. He was earlier identified to be in favor of Telangana Chief Minister KCR and AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and was allegedly against TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu.

So, the AP CM may find it tough, if a Governor like Narasimhan, who is a strong supporter of him is leaving the position. However, it may not be a great deal, if the new governor acts in favor of Jagan.
