The BJP government has witnessed a massive victory across the country, but was unable to make even a minimal impact in Andhra Pradesh.
The defeat left the party leaders humiliated and were keen to develop the prospects of the Lotus Party in the state. While it mainly planned to attract TDP and also prominent leaders of other parties, such attempts did not take a much progress.
Adding to it, the BJP received another major jolt now, with which the party’s progress in the state, has become next to impossible. It was in the news that the World Bank rejected loans for Amaravati capital city construction.
While many felt that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is not interested in Amaravati construction, he could have intentionally ignored the loan from World Bank. But the actual truth has been revealed now.

World Bank, in a press statement, has stated that it had to drop the loan, as the Central government insisted on it. The statement has left the BJP leaders in shock. As the party’s position has been worse in AP already, the latest statement has further worsened the position of it, as Andhrites are of the opinion that BJP is intentionally stopping the growth of AP, as people did not vote to the party.
