The YSRCP ministers making derogatory remarks and insulting comments on others is nothing new and has become really repetitive and pathetic of them to be continuing to do that. In a similar way, YSRCP Minister Rangnatha Raju has made some really insulting comments against paddy farmers.

Rao said that paddy cultivation has made farmers lazy. Nobody knows why he made this comment, and if there’s any hidden agenda, but what was made clear in his comments is that paddy cultivation is an easy job for farmers. Whatever his intention may have been, saying it in the right tone and differently would have made it sound decent. The minister used decent language to describe the process of paddy cultivation, which only makes one question why the minister couldn’t have used such language more, instead of making rude comments.

The opposition, especially members of the TDP and several farmers are not taking this well, and are asking Rao to provide an unconditional apology and to take back his comments. It is now to be seen what will happen in the days to come.
