Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 2, which was released on Amazon Prime, has set high expectations among the Telugu audience as Venkatesh Daggubati is remaking it in Telugu. Needless to say, the film is one of the much-awaited films in Tollywood lately.
We know the shooting of the film’s Telugu version titled, Drishyam 2 went on floors recently in Hyderabad.
As per social media buzz, Rana Daggubati has been approached to reprise the role of Murali Gopi in the film. If the reports are believed, Rana gave a nod and he will be joining the team soon on the sets.
However, there is no official announcement regarding the same yet. If the news is true, then it will be interesting to see the uncle-nephew duo sharing the screen space.
The Telugu remake is being helmed by Jeethu Joseph. The details regarding the cast and crew of Drishyam 2 will be announced soon. Notably, Venkatesh appeared in the song ‘Ballari Bava ‘ in Rana’s Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.
