It is known that Bellamkonda Srinivas will be making his Bollywood debut with the Hindi remake of Prabhas and Rajamouli’s blockbuster action entertainer, Chatrapathi. This will be the most prestigious project in his career.
However, not everything is falling into place for the project as the makers of Chatrapathi remake as they are finding it really hard to rope in a noted actress for the female lead role in the film.
The latest we hear is that the producers got in touch with Pooja Hegde and offered her a hefty remuneration to share the screen space with Bellamkonda Srinivas in the film. However, the in-form actress rejected the offer citing miscellaneous issues.
Interestingly, Pooja Hegde paired with Srinivas earlier in her career for Sakshyam which turned out to be a dud. Now, she has turned down the offer to pair with the macho actor in his maiden Bollywood film.
Earlier, it was said that the producers were in talks with young Bollywood actress Ananya Panday and it appears to be that even this proposal did not go through.
