Tollywood’s star director Srinu Vaitla is expecting a big comeback in the industry after his films Aagadu, Bruce Lee, Mister, Amar Akbar Anthony bombed at the box office. He is now all set to bounce back with the sequel for Dhee. Titled D and D, the film will feature Manchu Vishnu in the lead role and the shoot begins soon.
The latest we hear is Srinu Vaitla is working for the sequel of Mahesh Babu‘s Dookudu. Using the pandemic lockdown break, the director completed the script for the sequel and is keen to meet the actor to narrate the script.
Dookudu turned out to be the biggest hit in Mahesh’s career then. However, the second film in their combination, Aagadu failed to reach the expectations and ended up as a dud.
Currently, Srinu Vaitla wishes to get back to winning track with Dhee sequel and he is confident that Superstar would accept his proposal if he comes up with the right story. Meanwhile, Mahesh is occupied with the shooting of Sarkaru Vaari Paata in Parasuram’s direction.
