Ace filmmaker Sukumar craves for perfection and usually takes more time than initially anticipated to lock the final cut of his movies. But he won’t be having the luxury this time around as his next project Pushpa, starring Allu Arjun Allu Arjun listed in 25 Most Influential Young Indianshas locked 13th August as its release date.
Apparently, Sukumar is racing against time in order to get things done at a brisk pace now.
Earlier, it was said that a bulk of Pushpa shooting will take place at a forest region in Kerala. But the onset of Covid-19 pandemic and a ticking deadline has forced Sukumar and the rest of the unit to alter their plans. They are set to kick-start the forthcoming schedule in a specially erected forest set in Hyderabad.
Sukumar feels that shooting in other regions is a time consuming process and he can’t afford any unforeseen delays, given the fact that Pushpa is a pan-India project and its release date cannot be altered. It is said that Sukumar is following a bound script for Pushpa, which again is something new for him as he normally emphasizes on-spot developments and corrections. This is another measure to avoid any delays in shoot.
Sukumar is not used to working under strict time constraints and he is facing this challenge with Pushpa now.
