Though Kabali couldn’t reach the expectations of Rajinikanth fans, it still portrayed the super star in an utmost stylish avatar and especially after the teaser, the expectations on the film have been skyrocketed.
That could be the reason for Rajni, to offer PA Ranjith one more film called Kaala, right after Kabali. Unfortunately, even Kaala couldn’t impress many.

But finally, the director is now planning another big film in Tamil. With the Baahubali stars Rana Daggubati and Satyaraj in the prominent roles, he has planned an intense boxing drama. Even star hero Arya will be seen in a key role. The film will be completely shot in Tamil. Currently, the script work is going on at a brisk pace and so, the film is expected to take some time to go sets.
Meanwhile, Ranjith also announced to make a biopic in Bollywood, on the tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda. As one among the Khan trio is expected to play the lead in the film, the director is pinning high hopes on the project. After wrapping the multi-starrer in Kollywood, Ranjith would shift to to the biopic, the reports say.
