After creating her mark in the South film industry, young beauty Rashmika Mandanna is now all set to make a success statement in Bollywood too. The Sarileru Neekevvaru actress is making her Hindi debut opposite actor Sidharth Malhotra in his upcoming ambitious film ‘Mission Majnu’.
Rashmika Mandanna is excited to start her journey in Bollywood and to reach out to newer audiences. The 24-year-old actress said that she is grateful to the makers of the film for offering her a beautiful and well-written role in ‘Mission Majnu’.
The film is inspired by real events and is set in the 1970s. The lead actor Sidharth Malhotra plays the role of a RAW agent and the story is about India’s most courageous mission in the heart of Pakistan, which changed the relationship between the two nations. The film will go on floors in February.
The film will be directed by Shantanu Bagchi and is written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora and Sumit Batheja. Filmmaker Ronnie Screwvala of Uri: The Surgical Strike fame has collaborated with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta to produce the film.
