Goshamahal BJP MLA Raja Singh and Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar have been at war with each other for a few days now, over an alleged illegal butchering of cows in the city.
Raja Singh had complained to the police that a large number of cown were illegally brought to Hyderabad, from Maharashtra, and that they were being illegally butchered at a slaughterhouse in Bahadurpura. Singh said that he saw the vehicle full of cows with his own eyes, and has even made a selfie video, stating all of these points, and questioned how is it that the Police have not been able to find the vehicle when he could find it.
Raja Singh also said that he and his people would have tried to do something about the matter, but did not do anything as they would then be punished for taking the law into their hands. He asserted that every citizen is actually eligible to take law into their hands, and to act when they find something is being done unlawfully.
Reacting to this selfie video at the press conference held after catching loan app frauds, CP Sajjanar said that some people are bad-mouthing the Police department and that these people should keep in mind that the Telangana Police Department is the number one in the country. He also said that the police department is trying its very best to make sure that the citizens of the state are safe and secure, and asked Raja Singh to produce evidence of every single accusation he made against the police department.
