21 people died who attended the funeral of a covid corpse

A tragedic incident took place in the Shikhar district of Rajasthan. 21 people who attended the funeral of a covid corpse have died. However, officials say only four died with the corona, while the rest died of various causes. On the 21st of April, the body of a man who died with Corona was brought to his hometown Kheerwa village for cremation. About 150 villagers attended the funeral. In fact, the corpse of a corona-infected person was required to perform cremation rites abiding by the rules of covid but the funeral was done without any such.

From April 21 to May 5, 21 deaths were reported from the village. The common thing among all of them is they all attended the funeral. However, officials said only four of the deaths were Covid-related and the rest were due to age-related problems. Laxmangarh sub-divisional officer Kalraj Meena said samples were collected and were sent for testing from 147 families to determine whether they were corona deaths or not.
