2020 Sankranthi fever has gripped Tollywood with the release of Rajinikanth’s Darbar. But the actual euphoria starts with the release of Sarileru Neekevvaru which is hitting the screens on January 11th.
A day later, Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapuramulo too is releasing. With Ala Vaikunthapuramulo release is couple of days away from the release let us have a look at the box office classifications and predictions for different areas.
Already Telugu bulletin has predicted that Ala Vaikunthapuramulo will enter top 5 Day 1 highest collected shares in Nizam. Now let us do the analysis for Uttarandhra area, which is another prominent one in the Telugu states.
Firstly, the film has done a pre release business of around 8.5 Cr in this region which means it has collect more than that to be termed as a hit. This is the biggest target for Bunny so far. Distributors are targeting around 40 percent shares on Day 1 itself.
As Sankranthi festival is ahead, if the Day 1 target is achieved it will be cake walk for Allu Arjun to achieve the remaining. Ala Vaikunthapuramulo might collect around 3.25 Cr to 3.5 Cr share on Day 1 in this region which will be the career best for Allu Arjun by a huge margin. Bunny’s previous best is Naa Peru Surya with 2.02 Crores followed by DJ with 1.93 Crores and Sarainodu with 1.13 Crore share.
On its opening day almost 60 percent of the theaters will screen Ala Vaikunthapuramulo which will be an added advantage. If the talk is good, Sankranthi season is going to benefit the movie to a large extent.
Bunny-Trivikram combination is going to help the movie. On the top of that Andhra Pradesh government has given permission to hike the ticket prices and has granted to have 2 special shows for 6 days up to January 17th. These factors will work in favor of the movie a lot. We have to wait and see if Bunny can pull of his career best with this movie.
Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, this film has Pooja Hegde playing the female lead. Tabu is making her re-entry after about 10 years. Thaman’s songs have turned out to be chart busters and a clear winner over other Sankranthi release music albums.
