A truck with corona vaccine was left on the roadside in Madhya Pradesh. This has created a stir in the state as all the states are running out of corona vaccines. Locals informed the police that a truck had been parked near the bus stand in the Kareli area for a long time. Police reached the spot and opened the truck, which contained about 2,40,000 doses of Covaxin. The police tried to trace the truck driver’s location through his mobile number. But to no avail, the mobile was found in the bushes near the highway.
Police said that as the air conditioning in the truck was operating, the vaccine doses were safe. They estimated that the value of the vaccine in the truck to be around Rs.8 crores. Police who seized the truck are scurrying for the driver and the cleaner.
