The student had gotten back to Canada a month ago to proceed with his hotel management course.
While speaking to a news channel, Panyam Akhil’s bereaved relatives said that he has been seeking the course in Canada for one and a half years. He had returned back to Hyderabad in March after the Covid-19 outbreak and had left in October.
Akhil’s companions in Toronto intimated his parents about his death. He had communicated with his parents a day before the ill fated incident, stated Babji, Akhil’s uncle. The further details of who Akhil was speaking to when he fell off is yet to be disclosed.
Akhil’s residence area in Crescent town community in Ontario has been cordoned off by arranging flowers, candles, and a Bristol board that displays his name “The area is roped off so the brother may get the respect he deserves,” shared one of his friends.
Akhil’s family member has requested Telangana minister K.T Rama Rao to assist in bringing back the mortal remains to Hyderabad on twitter. Soon minister responded by assuring them that they will do the best.
