On the occasion of Independence day, after hoisting the National Flag, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy once again reiterated that neither he nor his government is willing to go back on their idea of 3 Capitals and on introducing English as the medium of instruction in Government schools.
This same feeling has now been stated in the public by Vijayasai Reddy, member of the YSRCP and a very close aide of Jagan’s. Vijaya Sai Rddy is a true supporter of Jagan, and has always stood by him no matter what. Vijayasai was quiet for a few days earlier, because of the fact that he was diagnosed with Coronavirus.
However, as soon as Vijayasai recovered completely from the virus, he got back to the picture stronger than ever, and has been making sure that his voice is heard on social media and off of it as well.
Even when there were restrictions in the country due to the lockdown because of Coronavirus, Vijayasai used to regularly tour Visakhapatnam, and make sure everything was right. He has now said that Visakhapatnam is a peaceful city and that no one can disrupt its peace.
He also went as far as saying that those who try to disrupt its peace would be punished accordingly. Furthermore, he also said that the government is fixated upon the idea of 3 Capitals and that no one can change their mind.
Looks like the government is least bothered about the farmers of Amaravati, despite their continuous protests and requests to reinstate Amaravati as the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.
There’s something about Visakhapatnam that the YSRCP government seems to be infatuated with, but it really isn’t clear what that is.
