The Presidential polls are all set to take place very soon, and the potential candidates are currently being listed out. For now, the NDA government is trailing behind its opposition by 2%, but it looks like the YSRCP government is about to come to the rescue of the NDA government, led by the BJP. While the YSRCP didn’t openly say that it would be supporting the NDA, it is a known outcome, given the understanding between the NDA and Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government.
Apart from the YSRCP, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is also expected to come to the rescue of the NDA. With only the YSRCP having a 4% vote say in the matter, the combined strength of the YSRCP and BJD is said to be enough for the BJP to get its way.
Political experts are also of the opinion that there’s no way that the YSRCP would go against the BJP, or would intend to go against the BJP any time soon, as the BJP is showing strong trends in the country, and especially so, after the recently held elections in five states, out of which the BJP won in four states, with a vast majority.
