TDP leader Varla Ramaiah is often known for his controversial comments about the other party leaders. While the investigation related to YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder has been going on, the Telugu Desam leader came up with some disturbing comments now.
He said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the real culprit in Viveka’s murder, but the officials are ignoring him and troubling other dummies. He demanded to transfer the case to CBI.
DGP Gowtham Sawang responded to his comments saying that he is not going to tolerate such baseless comments hereafter and warned the TDP leader, not to utter such comments as they would influence the case.

Following the DGP’s warning, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) sent notices to Ramaiah, asking him to appear before the SIT with the proofs, related to his comments. The SIT further warned to take action against Ramaiah, if he fails to show any such proofs.
Several times in the past, the TDP leaders blamed Jagan and other YSRCP leaders in Viveka’s murder case. But it is strange that, the officials took Varla Ramaiah’s comments seriously and are troubling him. It seems, the state government is no more in a mood to encourage any of the negative comments from the opposition parties.
