YSRCP Minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao is one of the few leaders from the ‘Vaishya’ community to get the top position in the state after Konijeti Rosaiah. Many people were shocked when Jagan gave ministry to Vellampalli as he hails from a ‘Kamma-dominant’ area. However, he proved everyone wrong with his guts and the assessment of the situation.
On the other side, the Yellow media targeted this leader and they have even accused him of a massive land scam in revenue lands in his home town. The minister was severely criticized in the state and even his fellow leaders started to differ with him because of those accusations. Later, Vellampalli himself put up an inquiry on the scam.
After all that ruckus, recently during Vellamapalli’s birthday celebrations, same media made some serious allegations on him. They say that his supporters and henchman did collect funds from the market and from the nearby small and medium businesses to celebrate their leader’s birthday. The media clearly said the words ‘Danda’ and ‘Mamulu’.
Now, Vellampalli said that he was not even in his town on his birthday and rubbished all those accusations. This seems like a never-ending process of attack-retaliation-defense from the media and this YSRCP minister. One thing is common with Vellampalli in all those accusations.
Be it revenue lands scam or the ‘Mamoollu’ thing, the media focus on the Minister’s farmhouse in West Vijayawada. So, the question is what is the relation to his accusations and the farmhouse? What is really happening in it and when will these specific media focus on his actual activities in the farmhouse?
