Yashoda is Samantha’s first mainstream Telugu theatrical outing in a while. The trailer of the film dropped a few minutes ago.
The trailer starts with Samantha explaining about her pregnancy. It is later understood that she’s a surrogate mother.
What unfolds later is Samantha’s tale of action and drama as she discovers something is off about the whole surrogacy process. She is even forced to fight a batch of goons in the process.
By the looks of it, Yashoda is an action entertainer based on Samantha, who plays a surrogate mother who goes on a journey laced with physical challenges.
The action shots in the trailer look slick and so does the background score. The visuals composition looks good and Sam appears to be perfectly fitting the specifications of the character.
The film is directed by Hari-Harish and it is produced by Sridevi Movies. It has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Murali Sharma, Rao Ramesh and others in important roles.
