Tollywood young film maker Prasanth Varma, known for “Awe” and “Zombie Reddy,” is currently promoting his upcoming project, “Hanu-Man,” featuring Teja Sajja.
Interestingly, this superhero film marks the initiation of Prasanth Varma’s Cinematic Universe (PCU). In a recent interview, he revealed his initial desire to create a film on the Mahabharata but abandoned the idea when Rajamouli announced his own project on the Indian epic.
Director Rajamouli, presently busy in pre-production for a film starring Mahesh Babu, has previously expressed his intention to direct a Mahabharata movie before retiring.
It remains to be seen when Rajamouli will jump on this ambitious venture. As for the movie Hanu-man, this movie is getting a grand release in the pan-India range. The film started in a rush with premiere shows a day earlier. And let’s see what kind of collections the movie gets in the Sankranti competition.
