Yesterday’s Jagan’s press meet on the postponement of the local body elections is the talk of the state at the moment. Jagan’s comments have been severely trolled in social media and this is the first time Jagan has been trolled in this fashion since he won in general elections.
Astonishingly only a few media people are present in the press meet and reportedly, the CM office has given the information to the selected media persons in the communication department. It is being said that Jagan and his government deliberately neglected the remaining media to avoid unwanted questions on the violence that happened during the nomination period.
Only a few selected reporters were allowed into the CM’s camp office. The reporters who came from some English and Telugu newspapers were denied entry so that Jagan wouldn’t have to face hard-hitting questions. Surprisingly, one of the media persons asked Jagan a controversial question and Jagan comfortably eluded him by diverting the topic.
Now as Jagan said that Paracetamol is enough to cure the Covid-19 virus and even stated that the application of bleaching powder for 6 hours can prevent its attack is being criticized by the national media too. Just imagine what would have happened if the entire media was allowed into the press meet.
