YS Vivekananda Reddy was brutally axed and murdered in his residence at midnight last year 2019. This incident had sent shivers in the spine for both the Telugu States looking at the faction politics in Kadapa. Just when there were few days left to the general elections in 2019, this incident had taken place.
While back then YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had said in the press conference that the involvement of DGP and Chandra Babu Naidu was suspected, the High Court thinks otherwise. There are also strong arguments that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy himself might have had his hands dirty in the act. While the truth is yet to be known, High Court had sent the case to CBI.
From the beginning, Jagan Mohan Reddy had been asking for the case to be sent to CBI for further probe into the matter as he does not trust Naidu. But after he had become the CM, he is not happy about the case being handled by CBI.
This has raised many questions in the public and YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter had appealed to the High Court that the present YCP government is neglecting the case and asked for CBI probe.
