Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has repeatedly said that a budget like never before is coming. As far as Andhra Pradesh is concerned, it is no different from previous budgets. With elections to the state assemblies of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, and Assam coming up soon, road projects worth thousands of crores of rupees have been announced in the budget for national highway projects. In the case of the Polavaram project, the revised estimates of Rs 55,656 crore were also not mentioned in the budget.
Against this backdrop, astonishingly, YCP MP Vijaysai Reddy outraged Chandrababu Naidu that why he is not questioning the Union govt on the budget allocation to AP. But, in reality, YCP MPs and MLAs are responding to this but CM Jagan hasn’t responded yet.
