While Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up to rule the Indian box office with his upcoming pan-India film ‘Liger’, some negativity is being spread on social media ahead of the big release.
During a recent media interaction, as part of his Liger promotions, Vijay placed his legs on the table in front of the journalists. This short clip is going viral on the internet, as his haters argue that it was a disrespectful gesture. However, the truth behind this incident is that the Arjun Reddy actor did that to make a journalist feel comfortable.
As the truth is kept silent and lies were spread about him, a journalist from a popular news channel, who was present in the press meet of Vijay, came out to issue a clarification on the incident. He released a video explaining what had happened there that day.
Responding to the same, VD took to Twitter and wrote, “Anybody trying to grow in their field. Will Always have a Target on their back – But we fightback. And when you are honest, yourself and want the best for everyone – The love of people and God will protect you.”
Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh and Ananya Panday as the female lead is all set to hit the screens on Aug 25, 2022.
