WhatsApp, the Facebook-owned company, has updated its privacy policy. There are numerous misconceptions about WhatsApp privacy policy among people.
WhatsApp initially asked users to accept the new terms and conditions and gave a deadline till February 8.
Later, in a new blog, the company has announced that it is extending the deadline for another three months.
So, to reach out to every customer and to clear confusion, the company has recently put its ‘Privacy Principles’ as a status message in WhatsApp.
In the recent FAQ page published by WhatsApp, it stated that the business accounts who use WhatsApp for customer service are storing logs of chats on Facebook servers.
Against this backdrop, there is a new privacy update in WhatsApp. But there is nothing to do with individual chats or profile data and the company could not be able to read personal chats and will not get access to your personal data.
