A leading website that publishes film and political news has now stooped very low, by making some really derogatory remarks on popular actor and politician, Pawan Kalyan. Interestingly, this website in question has been known to be more inclined towards caste politics, than towards genuine journalism and genuine responsibility towards the people.
Ashu Reddy is very famous among today’s youth, and she’s a sensation on the internet. Ashu is also a huge fan of Pawan Kalyan and happened to meet him recently. Sharing the picture she took with him on her Instagram handle, Ashu said that Pawan will always be her first love. Ashu even has a tattoo of Pawan Kalyan’s. Reacting to her Instagram post, one person asked Ashu if she would be willing to be Pawan’s fourth wife, and to that, Ashu replied ‘yes’.
Taking this as their cue, the above-mentioned website, used the term ‘Fourth Wife’ as the title for their post. What’s baffling is the lack of ethics and personal limits that this website seems to have, and the way they were unhesitant to stoop so low, just for the sake of views and click-baits.
This is not the first time that this website has done something so disgusting as this, as similar incidents keep happening on the website every 3 to 6 months. When actor Vijay Deverakonda helped out people during the lockdown, the website used some questionable words to describe the deed and was criticised heavily for that as well. It’s a pity to see journalism being so degraded, and being used to promote certain castes. Here’s hoping that things will look up at least in the future.
