Salaar’s Overseas business is in full swing, and the break-even details have been revealed. The Overseas rights for the Pan Indian film Salaar, featuring Prabhas and directed by Prashanth Neel, were acquired by Phars Films a while ago.
The final business ratio for Salaar in Overseas markets is set at 72 crore rupees. To ensure that all distributors make a profit, the film needs to collect more than 18 million dollars from Overseas audiences.
With a strong buzz across different languages, a positive opening is expected. However, for the film to reach the break-even point, positive word of mouth is crucial. Reports indicate that Hombale Films, the production company behind Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire, wasn’t pleased with the initial postponement from September 28th to December 22nd.
Despite their dissatisfaction, director Prashant Neel insisted on the delay to reshoot certain scenes. While there have been rumors of further postponements, inside sources suggest that the producers are not willing to postpone the film again.
