Srinivasula Reddy, who has been accused in YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case, committed suicide. When the campaigning for assembly and Lok Sabha elections had been going on in Andhra Pradesh, the sudden death of Viveka, has led to severe disturbances among the political circles.
While the TDP leaders blamed YSRCP Chief Jagan for the murder, the latter’s Sakshi media, initially termed it as a suicide, inviting the speculations all over. However, it later clarified as a murder, as the rest of the media, reported the same.
Jagan, as an opposition leader brought a stay in Viveka’s case, due to the election heat in the past. So it was anticipated that the YSRCP Chief would neglect the case after forming the government. But surprisingly, after the YSRCP government has been formed in the state, Jagan, in the position of Chief Minister took the case seriously and went forward with the proceedings.
As a part of such proceedings, Srinivasula has been accused in the case. He had committed suicide and lost his life, while undergoing the treatment in the hospital. In his suicide letter, Srinivasula mentioned that he committed suicide, as he was unable to tackle the pressure from the police, who were allegedly harassing him for quite some time.
He had written separate letters to Chief Minister Jagan and Bhaskar Reddy. Doctors handed over the letters to Srinivasula family members, who blamed CI Ramulu for the constant harassment.
