On the eve of Eid, “Macho Star” Gopichand and director Sreenu Vaitla have treated fans to a mass feast by releasing the first strike video of their upcoming film. Titled “Viswam,” this action-packed entertainer is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory and Venu Donepudi’s Chitralayam Studios.
The first strike video begins with vibrant wedding celebrations. The bride and groom make their entrance, accompanied by a group of musicians playing various instruments. The priest chants mantras, and chefs prepare delicious food. However, the unexpected twist comes when Gopichand enters, carrying what appears to be a large guitar case on his shoulder. But it’s not a musical instrument—it’s a machine gun. Shockingly, he starts shooting the bride, groom, and all the guests at the wedding. After the chaos, he calmly enjoys the food, uttering the cryptic line: “Daane Daane Pe Likha, Khane Wale Ka Naam… Ispe Likha Mere Naam…” (The name of the person eating is written on every grain… My name is written on it…).
Gopichand’s transformation is striking. Sporting an ultra-stylish look, a light beard, and dark glasses, he portrays a negative-shaded character. Sreenu Vaitla’s return promises excitement, as he presents Gopichand in an entirely different avatar. The film’s technical brilliance shines through KV Guhan’s masterful cinematography, and Chaitan Bharadwaj’s score adds to the richness. The production design is magnificent, offering a visual treat to the audience.
Screenwriter Gopi Mohan, known for his association with Sreenu Vaitla’s blockbusters, has penned the screenplay. Meanwhile, Amar Reddy Kudumula handles editing, and Kiran Manne oversees art direction. Stay tuned for more details about the film’s heroine and other exciting aspects!
