Gaami hit the theatres last week and got good appreciation for its new kind of attempt. During a press event in Tirupathi, Vishwak Sen shared interesting thoughts about this film. He explained that instead of making a typical commercial movie, they dedicated 6 years to making Gaami with the goal of introducing fresh elements to Telugu cinema. He emphasized that it’s acceptable if people choose not to support the film, but he urged them not to harm its chances of success.
Vishwak Sen said that he will keep making movies with meaningful content while also making them commercially appealing. He asked the audience to watch the movie if they haven’t yet. He stressed that this is Telugu Cinema and added that it would be great if influential people in Tollywood watch the film and say good words about the film. He said that he believe ‘Gaami’ is unique for Telugu cinema, and it will be remembered for years to come and said that if it were like ‘Dune 2,’ people would have been excited. He also added that the movie isn’t complicated and it’s easy to understand.
While many people opine that movies like Gaami with different concepts come once in a while and should be encouraged. They also say that Tollywood rarely makes different attempts and needs to be appreciated.
