The first look poster of Dhanush’s upcoming movie, “Kubera,” is released last week and it caught the attention of film enthusiasts. In the poster, director Sekhar Kammula portrayed Dhanush wearing worn-out clothes, standing in front of an image depicting Lord Shiva and goddess Annapurna.
According to a news report, Dhanush will portray a beggar in the highly anticipated movie. The film’s plot centers around Mumbai’s Dharavi slum, and the main character comes from that area. As the story unfolds, the hero will transform into a formidable mafia leader. Essentially, “Kubera” narrates the journey of a man who goes from poverty to wealth, as suggested by the title.
The movie has Tollywood King Nagarjuna playing a crucial and prominent role, and Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead. The film is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations. The music is being composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad.
The release date is yet to be announced, Kubera will be a bilingual film and is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.
