Ever since Jagan Mohan Reddy proposed three capitals for the Andhra Pradesh, every party in the state other than YSRCP opposed this proposal. Amaravati farmers continued to protest against this decision in the wake of the injustice that occurred to them.
Many TDP leaders presented the references from various sources against the capital shift from Amaravati to Vizag. Recently, the TDP is asking the YCP government whether or not the Eastern Naval Command has seriously warned it against shifting Executive Capital to Visakhapatnam.
TDP leader Bonda Uma stated that Jagan Circar had released crores of funds to shift AP Secretariat to Millennium Towers in Vizag but now all that turned a waste. Navy wrote a letter to AP to stop shifting Secretariat into Millennium Towers for the security of defense installations nearby.
As a defense to this serious statement, YCP’s No2 Vijay Sai Reddy said that there is no official letter or statement made by the Navy command which is being referred by the TDP. He said that the ‘Yellow Media’ is spreading such fake news and the TDP leaders should be booked under the treason towards the nation.
By the confident words from Vijay Sai Reddy, it is being evident that the TDP is making false allegations regarding the capital issue using their supportive media which should be condemned high time.
