It is known that Vijay Deverakonda is all set to treat the Telugu audience with his upcoming film ‘Family Star’. Gearing up for a grand theatrical release on April 5th, the Parasuram Petla directorial is garnering great buzz among the people.
Ahead of the release, DOP KU Mohanan, recognized as one of the top Indian cinematographers, interacted with the media and shared his experience of working on the film. He stated that ‘Family Star’ is a beautiful movie set against the backdrop of a middle-class man, addressing family values that are often neglected in today’s society. With the entire country moving towards nuclear families, the concept of family reunion has diminished. Mohanan revealed that the movie will discuss old family values in such a time, while also featuring a compelling love story. He mentioned that Parasuram approached the project with clear ideas and the team experimented with new techniques.
Furthermore, KU Mohanan emphasized that they aimed to make the visuals reflect the natural essence of the story and characters. Having previously worked on Bollywood super hits like ‘Don’, ‘Talash’, and ‘Andhadhun’, along with Telugu film ‘Maharshi’ starring Mahesh Babu, Mohanan brings a wealth of experience to ‘Family Star’.
