Mythri Movie Makers had initially set their plans with director Lokesh Kanagaraj to helm a grand pan-Indian project featuring Prabhas.
However, it is being said that due to scheduling conflicts, Lokesh revealed his inability to commit to Prabhas’s film at the present time.
The production house was hopeful that Lokesh would sign on after completing his current project with Rajinikanth.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, the acclaimed director behind hits like “Leo,” “Khaidi,” and “Vikram,” has declared that his upcoming film starring Rajinikanth is slated to start production in June. He has dedicated over a year and a half to this venture.
Following this, Lokesh has plans to direct “Khaidi 2” with actor Karthi. Given these commitments, Lokesh will be fully immersed in these projects for the next three years.
This results in the much-anticipated collaboration between Prabhas and Lokesh Kanagaraj being shelved for now and might not be done in the near future.
On the other hand, Prabhas is also packed with multiple projects in line up. He is currently shooting for Kalki 2898 AD and The Raaja Saab. Apart from this, He also has Salaar Part 2 and Spirit ready to be on sets.
