Vakkantam Vamsi was a star writer and used to pen some hit films a few years back. Stories like Kick came from him and were even big hits in Hindi cinema. The star writer became a director with Allu Arjun’s Na Peru Surya which was a box office dud.
This left everyone disappointed and Vakkantam Vamsi was nowhere to be seen. The popular writer has now released his second film Extra Ordinary Man with Nithin. The comedy caper was released last Friday and has ended as a big box office dud.
Nithin scores one more flop with this film but more than Nithin it is Vamsi who will bear the brunt. This is his second back-to-back flop and he has failed to live up to the expectations put on him. It will be very hard for him to find a hero for his next.
Seeing this stage, a section of the industry feels that Vakkantam Vamsi needs to concentrate on his story first and then look for a small hero to make a comeback. We need to see how he handles his career from now on.
