Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has resigned. He resigned after MLAs revolted against him in Uttarakhand. He submitted his resignation letter to the Governor at Raj Bhavan a few moments ago.
Rawat spoke to the media after meeting Governor Baby Rani Maurya. ‘The party has given me a golden opportunity to serve the state. I never expected such an opportunity to come. Now the party hopes to give this opportunity to someone else. I submitted my resignation to the Governor. The BJP Legislative Assembly will meet tomorrow at 10 am and a new legislative leader will be elected. ‘ Said Trivendra Singh Rawat.
In Uttarakhand, state BJP leaders are deeply dissatisfied with Rawat’s leadership. Some leaders have lodged large-scale complaints against him at the BJP headquarters in Delhi.
