The border tension between India and China raised to the peak few days back. Both the countries decided to disengage the troops from the region. When the situation is at its peak, Donald Trump and the US started pointing China over Covid-19 and the tiffs with the neighbors. The statements from the Trump’s administration showed utmost support to India in this aspect.
But interestingly, if there is a war between India and China, US former National Security Advisor John Bolton stated that there is no guarantee for US to stand with India. John Bolton further stated that Trump may even change sides and favor Chinese trade. Speaking on the status of Donald Trump, John Bolton finalized that the US president lost his hope on the next elections considering the current situation in the USA.
Unlike the previous Governments of India, the Modi’s administration didn’t involve any third party mediation in the India – China border tension issue and always mentioned that the two countries will resolve the matter.
